Scrap Map Saturday

Ladies it's another saturday and another scrap map over at Creative Craft World. The theme is love - quite appropriate after the day yesterday celebrating the Royal Wedding - I do hope you enjoyed it all.

This is one of the pictures from our wedding nearly 3 years ago. Hope you like it.

Easter...

Wow another week has gone by and of course another scrap map at CCW. this time the theme is easter so anything eastery will fit this challenge.

The scrap map can be found over here at the CCW challenge blog

My take on the scrap map is:

This is a picture of Poppy's first easter and as she is wearing purple easter bunny ears I have used the yellow and purple to co-ordinate with the theme. I have even got the sewing machine on this LO too.

Hope you like it

Love Is In the Air...

...at Creative Craft World and their card challenge this fortnight, celebrating love, marriage and anniversaries, make a card which is suitable for these occasions.

The sponsor this fortnight is Bugaboo stamps and their images are brilliant, Ive used A kid's view Love Image which can be found here

I have printed my image on digital cardstock which can be bought from CCW and to be honest Im terrible at shading/colouring with promarkers but with this cardstock it is fantastic and so easy! Quite difficult to show the shading on the picture but I am delighted with it.

I have also used my new Tim Holtz rosette dies for the flowers and inked all edges of these in silver. To finish I have used a congratulations peel off with some stars.

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Shapes Galore

Well today is another scrap map saturday over at CCW, this week its all based upon mixed shapes.

This is the scrap map:

My take on the scrap map is the following:

I have used cream organza and have ruffled it along the edges, I wanted to try and do something different with ribbon, have seen some gorgeous LO's recently and am always trying to get my LO's looking better. Not sure this is finished yet or I might rearrange things a little but for now I can't think of what to do to make it so I am 100% happy with it - sorry I am showing alot of LO's I am not completely happy with at the moment but any advice/ideas are gratefully received :)

Thank you for looking

Boys Will Be Boys...

Wow where has that last week gone? Time flies when your having fun doesnt it? Hope you are enjoying the sunny weather we have been having these past few weeks. I know I am.

Anyway as its a Saturday, it is the launch of another Scrap Map challenge, this time it is Sarah W's challenge with the theme of Boys will be boys.

If Im honest I have found this LO quite difficult, more from the point of not having many boys photo's, I have Poppy and even my cat is a girl so this was one LO I knew would be hard for me.

So after rummaging through my humungous stack of photo's - believe me it is getting bigger and not smaller! I found some pictures of Father's day in 2009 when we took my dad to the Severn Valley on a 1940's weekend. So these were the pictures I have used.

I have used Mica Mists on the bazzill to create the background cardstock, after waiting a whole day for it to dry and attempt to flatten the cardstock down, I could then finish the rest. I then used my sewing machine to create the big circles and the Echo Park Little Boy collection pack for the rest. (All available from CCW)
