WOYWW 175
This week I am mainly christmas crafting, I know its October but I need to start early I have so little kiddie free time I have to make the most of what I do have. We have all been battling with a cold this week and been working nights at the hospital so been a tough week but we're getting there.
Anyway here is my desk and what I am up too this week. I have got the alcohol inks out and am trying to recreate something I saw on TV a couple of weeks back.
I have put the design onto a black and white card to see how different they both look, these aren't finished yet as need to get the BS out, but this is currently on the floor, I promise to try and take a picture of the whole corner of the room one day but at the moment it is horrendous and needs a proper sort through.
My sewing machine is still out as in the middle of making more cushions for friends from my earlier post.
Anyway hope your all having a lovely WOYWW am now going to pop across and check out some of your desks :)

The alcohol inks are looking gorgeous - what wonderful colours! Thanks so much for your visit (only you've now hopped down to #71 at the moment - I find it all very confusing that one keeps jumping about!). Happy WOYWW!

You now have my interest what are you doing with the alcohol inks? Your space looks lovely and clean, as does the rest of the room too. I to do night shifts all the time and it is hard to find time sometimes, I do understand.
Thanks for popping in, was great seeing you.

Gorgeous card fronts! The same colors do look so different on the black vs. the white. The black is more dramatic and the white brightens the look up. Good for you carving out some creative time -- it's worth it, but so hard to come by sometimes. Happiest of WOYWWs to you (and I hope the colds are on their way out the door.) ~ Laura #109

Your alcohol inks look great. It's amazing how just putting things on different colour backings changes them, isn't it?
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.
