WOYWW...cushions & minnie mouse...

Well this week has been manic with trying to get as many projects finished as I can, time just doesn't seem to be on my side at the moment and nothing seems to be getting closer to being finished ...argh!!

Anyway those that visit my blog will know I am working both upstairs on my main crafty desk - not as big as it normally is but were decorating and I have had to squeeze into a corner of the bedroom - and have migrated to the dining room table too.

So downstairs on the table is:

My Minnie Mouse birthday party invitations for Poppy's 3rd birthday at the end of the month, they would be finished but I cannot get the printer to print the wording without smudges down it so am more then a little frustrated with my printer at the moment.

I draw a template using two used ribbon reels, one slightly bigger then the other onto an empty cereal packet and then used blackberry swirl bazzill for the head shape.

The wording is meant to be on the white, I did a test print and it worked fine apart from the smudging down one side so I had a play with the printer and now it won't print them at all so am very frustrated. Will get there in the end. The pink bows are all tied and ready to go.

As requested last week to show you a picture of my normal crafting space, well here it is:

This is my desk with the sewing machine on, you can see the pile of cushions and things that are waiting to get through, but I have been asked to make some more so I have to get a move on and find some extra time somewhere to get them done as running out.

This is the stack of really useful boxes right next to my desk which are full of papers, and scraps of material in others. My sewing box is on the top - space is very limited and some of the finished cushions piled up ready for wrapping and giving away.

You can just catch of glimpse of my rolling tote next to the boxes, this si full of all sorts of things, I really need to sort it out and get it tidied there is so much in there which I havent gotten out in months so it needs a clear out.

Anyway those are my workdesk's this wednesday, I am now off for a peek around everyone elses at the stamping ground.

Thank you for popping in to checkout my desk.

Happy WOYWW

Yes printers will let you down every time you really need them... Your cards look very cute. Your cushions are lovely. Just to let you know the owls have hatched and I managed to get a photo of the babies. I have it on my blog. Sandy :) #44

AND BREATH.. I had my printer go funny the other week, I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it and that seemed to right the problem..just an idea if you get stuck.
Hope the invites turn out great, i'm sure they will.

What a cute idea for an invitation. I hope you don't end up having to stamp them all! Mind you you could do one and then find a photo copier. Fingers crossed you printer behaves - threaten it with the skip! Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 56

Of course I love Minnie! What a pain printers can be. I can't get mine to like card at all and have to buy the thin stuff that's meant for printing on. Still loving those cushions. Happy Wednesday. :o)
