Shapes Galore

Well today is another scrap map saturday over at CCW, this week its all based upon mixed shapes.

My take on the scrap map is the following:

I have used cream organza and have ruffled it along the edges, I wanted to try and do something different with ribbon, have seen some gorgeous LO's recently and am always trying to get my LO's looking better. Not sure this is finished yet or I might rearrange things a little but for now I can't think of what to do to make it so I am 100% happy with it - sorry I am showing alot of LO's I am not completely happy with at the moment but any advice/ideas are gratefully received :)

Valentines...

Today launches a brand new card challenge over at Creative Craft World, and the theme is love as we are all getting prepared for Valentines Day on 14th. Scrap Map Challenge

Well today launches another scrap map challenge over at Creative Craft World. It's Sue's turn to set you a challenge and what a wonderful one it is too. My take on the sketch is: I have used a picture from our honeymoon in the maldives in 2008, yes still trying to scrap pictures from then. If only you knew the pile of pictures waiting to be scraped on my desk!

New Card Challenge

Over at CCW there is the new card challenge by Oona, the theme is anything goes and I have created the following new baby card for my DT project. I have used a stamp which has been in my stash for years and I have never actually used it....so I embossed the newborn stamp with silver embossing powder and used pink checked paper to mount the stamp on. The card is finished with small pink gems and 'it's a girl' ribbon across the top. All are available from CCW.

This fortnights challenge is themed 'The Family' and is set by Sarah W. Pop across to the blog here and see what its all about. Here is my DT work for the challenge and my metal embellishment is the heart charm tied with the ribbon. I am also working on a LO but due to being poorly I havent managed to finish in time so will get that finished asap and upload it for you all to see. Thanks for popping by,
