Day 5 of our Christmas Countdown & Nov Scrap Map

Christmas Countdown 2011 - Day 5

50 Sleeps to go

Welcome to day 2 of our christmas countdown over at Creative Craft World. Today Sue has made a beautiful LO to share with you all, pop across to her blog here to find the full instructions.

This LO also doubles as our November Scrap Map so you can all join in with us to be in with a chance of winning a GDT slot and a FREE kit.

Well today I am delighted that my mojo has returned....well even if its just for this LO then at least I have managed to do something for once. Im sure pregnancy steals my mojo away as this happened when pregnant with Poppy and no matter how hard I tried I just could not get anything to look right. Believe me I have tried so many things which have all ended up in the bin.

Anyway today launches this months scrap map over at CCW, pop across and take a peek as there is lots going on over at CCW this month and believe me you won't want to miss it :)

This is the map given to us by Sue:

As I havent been able to scrap much recently I did follow the map abit more then I wanted too but here is my LO.

It is some pictures of our day trip to Bourton on the Water, we were having afternoon tea and as you can see Poppy likes to share hers with lamby. Lamby goes everywhere with her and she always has to share her food with her.

(sorry I know the picture isn't that great, the lighting isn't all that at the moment but will try and upload some better ones)

Love to see what you all come up with.

Thank you for looking and bearing with me when my mojo has been AWOL......heres hoping its here to stay.

Sue's LO and christmas countdown project:

Hope you are enjoying the christmas countdown and would love to see if you make any of the projects we have throughout the month.

Pop back again tomorrow for another new festive project :)

Easter...

Wow another week has gone by and of course another scrap map at CCW. this time the theme is easter so anything eastery will fit this challenge.

The scrap map can be found over here at the CCW challenge blog

My take on the scrap map is:

This is a picture of Poppy's first easter and as she is wearing purple easter bunny ears I have used the yellow and purple to co-ordinate with the theme. I have even got the sewing machine on this LO too.

Hope you like it

Shapes Galore

Well today is another scrap map saturday over at CCW, this week its all based upon mixed shapes.

This is the scrap map:

My take on the scrap map is the following:

I have used cream organza and have ruffled it along the edges, I wanted to try and do something different with ribbon, have seen some gorgeous LO's recently and am always trying to get my LO's looking better. Not sure this is finished yet or I might rearrange things a little but for now I can't think of what to do to make it so I am 100% happy with it - sorry I am showing alot of LO's I am not completely happy with at the moment but any advice/ideas are gratefully received :)

Thank you for looking

Managed another LO

I have managed to make another LO today, well I finished it today, I was half way through yesterday when Poppy woke up so I had to leave it and finish it today. I have been inspired by the XOXO girls again and this time by Lisa Harrolle. Anyway this is my LO: This is taken last summer when the little lady was 6 months old and just starting to eat food, this is her munching away on a rich tea. I love this picture because it shows of her beautiful big eyes which she gets from her daddy, which is a good thing to get from him as my eyes are what I call piggy eyes. I have used echo park be mine collection pack, never realised how far a collection pack goes before now. Anyway I would like to enter it into the competition over at the XOXO blog sponsored by Candy Shoppe Designs

Sleeping Beauty

This is Poppy's due date, my sisters birthday but Poppy decided she didn't want to share her birthday so made her appearance a week earlier. Looking back she was so small but some more memories treasured forever.

A Mothers Love

These are some of the pictures from when we first got Poppy home at just 15hours old. I will always remember these moments and how I felt for this beautiful little person who had come into our lives.....it only feels like yesterday and not 10months ago!

Great Grandad

The first time Poppy met her 98year old Great Grandad at just 5 days old. These memories will be treasured forever and I want to be able to show Poppy them when she grows up.

Grandad & Me

This is the first time my dad met and held Poppy, she is 4 hours old here, just waiting to be able to go home. My poor dad looks exhausted, think I might have kept them awake most of the night being in labour and then ringing at 4am to tell them Poppy had arrived.

15 hours old...

I have managed to get another LO done, this time it is Poppy at home meeting her aunty and granny....she is just 15 hours old here hence the title. It was ever so strange being at home with a brand new baby but looking back now it brings a tear to my eye as it feels like yesterday and not 9 months ago!

Blooming Tummy...

I have managed to finish another LO from my pregnancy, the pile of pictures is coming down very very slowly....I might have caught up by the time Poppy is 18 at this rate. Anyway the latest layout is a picture of my tummy at 32 weeks pregnant which is the time that we went for our 4D scan, I thought it was nice to see what it was like at that stage compared to the scan. I decorated it all with the flowers before deciding upon the title and it was only after I had finished it all I realised blooming with flowers - abit of a coincidence really. Materials Used Paper & Cardstock - Bazzill Basics Mauve Ice A Walk In the Park - Picnic Fun Embellishments- AC Thickers LYB Journal Circle Mix of flowers from stash Jewels & brads - own stash I would like to enter this into the August challenge over at Sir Stampalot as the theme is 'Bring on the Bling' and can be found here I have added bling with the glittery letters and the gems dotted throughout the flowers. Also like to enter it into the Crafts & Me Challenges - Challenge 11 Petals & Pearls
